P.O.G. has a few ideas to get you going on some holiday sales.
It is not too early to start planning your holiday festivities now.
1. Get your office in the holiday cheer mode.
-Decorate the office, give out cookies and cider. Put a holiday scent in your “Scentsy pot.” Play holiday music. Decorate display cases that highlight products you want to push (sunglasses, cases, designer frames.) This is a good time for stocking stuffers, so display little things like lens cleaner spray and cleaning cloths.
2. Plan a holiday “happy hour party” for staff and patients.
-Include door prizes, music and refreshments.
– Have holiday treats at the check in counter.
3. Send a good, old-fashioned holiday card to patients.
-Make sure you sign it personally. Include a picture of office staff. Maybe include a coupon to get them in the office before a certain time period.
4. Give to a charity on your patients’ behalf(s)
Example: For every pair of lenses ordered with “Courage Coating®” we will donate to the fight against cancer.(P.O.G. can specifically help you with this cause if you wish).
5. Run weekly promotions.
Maybe it’s a BOGO deal, or a discount on polarized sunglasses or 2nd pair lenses. Whatever you choose, center it around the idea of “gift giving”.
For all your holiday ideas, you should use as many marketing outlets as possible: Email, Texts, In-Office Marketing Materials, Snail Mail, Social Media, Office Web Site etc.
