Shannon Waigand

Shannon Waigand is Director of Sales & Marketing. Shannon came to P.O.G. Labs in 2002, with over eleven years of prior optical experience and education as an optometric technician. She began her career here in Data Entry. However, Shannon’s lack of keyboarding skills and gift of gab were quickly noted. At the time there was no "Sales Department", but Shannon found her true calling when she was persuaded to transfer to that area anyway. She now oversees our sales team, providing up-to-the-minute information on all new products and pricing and helping maintain customer accounts. She absolutely loves her job and all aspects of it. Shannon admits, as the youngest of eight, she is used to being spoiled. She enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, whether on their farm or at the nearest lake.

Misty Johnston

Misty Johnston is a Sales Representative, joining P.O.G. Labs in 2007, with eight years of prior sales, marketing and graphic design experience. She works with existing customers and also prospects for new business. She finds talking to people across the nation each day exciting, and has been amazed to find how large the optical industry is and how the technology has advanced. Misty is married to husband Brad. Together, they have 3 daughters: Saige, Josie and Ricci. The girls keep them on their toes! In her spare time, Misty enjoys playing golf.

Angie Siebrecht

Angie Siebrecht joined our Sales Department in 2009 as a sales representative. Angie has over two years of retail optical experience and has a solid understanding of the products and services she is recommending to her customers. She finds her job very interesting and loves talking to people nationwide. She enjoys outdoor activities, socializing with friends, and playing with her puppy.

Twana Songer

Twana Songer is the newest member on our sales team. She started at P.O.G. in the customer service department and has really enjoyed getting to know our industry and all our customers. Twana has 3 children, Cassi, Riley and Kenadi, who are all very active in sports and other activities. Twana is currently studying to get her associates degree in business. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her kids, camping and working in her flower gardens.

Kate Shafar

Kate Shafar is the first addition to the Sales Department as Marketing Coordinator. She joined the team in 2009 and has really enjoyed getting to know the industry. She joined us with 5 years experience in the marketing field. Kate is married to husband Sean and they have a baby girl named Charlotte. In her free time, Kate enjoys cooking, shopping and camping.
